This is a "Turkey Mold" Oyster plate. It derives its name because of the shape of the reversed Oyster shells give the look of the Turkey head and the feathers around the outer wells. This 5 well Oyster plate is on a soft white background with deep to light blue ribbons. There is gold on the outer rim as well as in the ribbons and around the wells. The Turkey mold Oyster plate is always a popular collectors item! It is marked on the back with the store it was sold from as well as the artist mark in gold.
